Meet the Founder – Lauren Heames

From Makeup Artist to Beauty Educator

I’m Lauren Heames, the founder of The Lab Training Academy and a passionate beauty professional with over a decade of industry experience.

✨ My journey in beauty started in 2014 as a makeup artist, balancing my growing business alongside my BSc (Hons) Psychology degree at Edge Hill University. Although I initially pursued psychology, my love for beauty and business ultimately shaped my career path.

In 2018, I established The Lash Lab Co., starting with classic eyelash extensions before quickly expanding into lash lifting, volume lashes, and advanced beauty treatments. Through years of dedication, practice, and continuous learning, I developed my expertise and found my true calling: educating others in the beauty industry.

The Birth of The Lab Training Academy

In 2020, I qualified as a teacher and assessor, allowing me to offer professional training courses to aspiring beauty professionals. My goal has always been to inspire, educate, and elevate others in the industry, providing them with high-quality, practical training that leads to real success.
